5 Self-Care Tips For Patients With Dryness Problems
1. Use safe, water-free, all natural products in your genital area. Bacteria grow in water so if your products have water, then chemicals are needed. These chemicals increase hormonal issues that can aggravate pelvic problems.
2. Vaginal dryness is normal, especially after childbirth and menopause. Use a vaginal moisturizer daily or every other day to help prevent unpleasant itching, odor, or even tissue loss and atrophy that can lead to loss of sensation.
3. Using the right pH is critical. Use a product internally that has a pH of between 3.0 and 3.5 to maintain the right microbiome. For your external vulva / genital region, the pH has to be between 5.0 and 5.5. Vaginal and skin pH changes over time and can lead to increased infections and localized aging.
4. Pelvic floor exercises and breathing exercises will help strengthen your pelvic region. Prevent leaking, incontinence, constipation and pain with a better understanding of your pelvic muscles and good posture. Good posture is related to looking and feeling good, including in your pelvic region.
5. Use it (otherwise you'll lose it). Massage your genital area and keep having sex to maintain tissue and sensation. Blood flow is critical for healthy pelvic tissue.

Mae by Damiva
Mae is a vaginal moisturizer in an ovule/suppository form registered with the FDA and Health Canada.
Its main efficacious ingredients include plant butters and homeopathic ingredients formulated for optimal pH between 3.0 and 3.5.
Mae also contains sucrose - an ingredient found to be as effective as metronidazole in curing bacterial vaginosis (Ref 7).
Mae’s main mode of action is to soothe through topical plant butters and pH optimization. Uses of Mae include soothing itching and restoring moisture. Dosage recommendation is one ovule daily for 2 weeks for an initial bolus and then one ovule every other day or as needed, to a maximum of one ovule a day.

Cleo by Damiva
Cleo is a labial moisturizer in a single dose sachet format regulated as a cosmetic by Health Canada and the FDA.
Cleo is pH balanced for the external genitalia to a pH between 5.0 and 5.5. Cleo’s main efficacious plant ingredients include plant butters, vitamin E, sea buckthorn extract and hyaluronic acid.
Hylauronic acid has been found to be efficacious for vaginal and genital dryness in multiple clinical studies (Refs 5 to 19).
Cleo’s main mode of action is to soothe and restore moisture with hyaluronic acid and plant ingredients. Uses of Cleo include soothing itching and restoring moisture. Dosage recommendation is one sachet daily or as needed.

Cleo CBD by Damiva
Cleo CBD is a labial moisturizer with 11 plant-based ingredients including hyaluronic acid and cannabidiol (CBD), purified from hemp with the removal of tetrahydrocannabidiol (THC) [Note 1].
Cleo CBD is pH balanced to between 5.0 and 5.5. Cleo CBD’s primary mode of action is to provide a lubricating, moisturizing layer for the skin of the vulva, labia and external genitalia while enabling the beneficial properties of CBD that are related to modulation of the endocannabinoid system in the skin.
